Pelosi might soon be gone.

image Much of the Democratic party is against her recent misstatements against the CIA.   And of course, so are the Republicans.

And why not.

I’ve been troubled by this for a while…

Why would the democratic party, which is attempting to market themselves as governing from the center, choose as their most visible member, and leader,  someone as liberal and far leaning as Pelosi?

Indeed, hasn’t she become a burden on her party; hasn’t she outlived her usefulness?  Isn’t she viewed by her peers as a distraction to the serious work our congress has ahead of them?

I hope.

For America’s sake, I hope.

We Need Nancy

We need Nancy!

Nancy Pelosi must not step down. Yes the embattled speaker of the house has made an ass out of herself “again” but what would happen is she did step down and the the House Democrats elected someone who was competent . She is the best thing Republicans have going for them in 2010. The way most Democrats beat out Republicans was to show their opponent in a picture with George Bush and say it’s his fault. Without Nancy slandering the brave solder’s and agents who risk their lives to protect us everyday, all we have left is Joe Biden. Obama is to slick, Barney Frank is too Gay and Chris Dodd is from CT, a very blue state.

Nancy, you have my support and if you need some help digging that hole your in give me a call.

To Great Britain I mean.

Attend…  When you block people from coming to your country because you’re afraid they might say something you don’t like; and you justify it by telling everyone that this individual utters hate-speech and provokes people  to violence…

Well, you’ve just kissed your democracy goodbye.

And as a consequence of such a seemingly easy decision, you’ve placed Mr. Smart-ass in  the same league as terrorists, rapists, child molesters and, Republicans!

Enter Mike Savage…

And the object of his shame:  that once towering pillar of democracy, the birthplace of Winston Churchill, of Margaret Thatcher, Sir Francis Drake and Admiral Lord Nelson.

Yes, the sun never sets on the British Empire.

Here’s the story.

I just wanted to let you know that all democracies are not created equal.  And although Great Britain might be able to criminalize opinionated pundits like Savage, in America we cannot.

Not because of the noble sentiments of Obama or Pelosi, who would no doubt barter away such things for political advantage,  but because of the 1st Amendment.

The 1st  Amendment…  It has no equal in any other democracy – so complete is its protections.

God Bless America.
