Putting a face on America’s vote

October 31, 2008 · Filed Under political opinion · 2 Comments

Facts and statistics do little to stir the human heart.  No, far more important that we replace mere numbers  with faces; we put sentiment where once there was simply a demographic, a statistic, an equation.

Attend.

Here’s a McCain Supporter:

Here’s a gaggle of Obama supporters:

Here’s the face of someone who
dislikes Governor Palin
Here’s the face of someone who doesn’t
like Senator Obama

Here are some Acorn-registered voters who

are no doubt supporting Obama
Here are some McCain supporters.

Lets see here… More Obama support.  Should Obama win, he’ll obviously meet with Bin Laden without pesky pre-conditions.

And finally,

Here’s McCain’s tradition of America Here’s Obama’s:

Oops - This just in!   Look - some last minute voters,  more support for Obama of course:

Ahhh yes, faces.  Its all about the faces, isn’t it?

Global Warming dies another ignoble death.

With all the political coverage, its hard to see anything else.  But a little good news is well, good.

Look.

Here’s the salient quote from the article:  "…what baffles science is that this data contradicts theories stating man is the primary source of increase for this greenhouse gas."

Just like I said in a previous post…  Its simply reckless and illogical to believe a few factoids, while ignoring all the other stuff.  This isn’t truth, its certainly not science…  But it IS Al Gore.

Is this the most corrupt election in history?

October 30, 2008 · Filed Under political opinion · 23 Comments

Hmmm.  Seems that way.  In fact, for those of us of conservative ilk, this election might have the same look and feel that the 2000 election had for liberals.  Remember how democrats howled in rage after the Supreme Court sided with George Bush and allowed Florida’s electoral votes to remain affixed to him?

In my opinion, it began this great schism that remains today.  Indeed, Democrats feel utterly empowered to do everything possible to ensure victory this time.

Anything.

Attend:

The dirt police are out in full force:

Like roaming gangs of thugs in some third world country, "Community Organizers" are out in unprecedented numbers, to scam and cheat the voter registration process.  Dead people, felons, Mickey Mouse; even illegal aliens -  it makes no difference, every vote for Obama cancels one for McCain.

A corrupt press, dedicated to returning Democrats to power.

The usual gaggle of shady and hate-filled characters lurking in dark doorways.

Bill Ayers…

Reverend Wright…

Khalid Al Mansour…

Saul Alinsky…

All that questionable money from sources unknown.

Biased polls that make it seem inevitable…

And finally, a talk that fails to match the walk…  Obama mentioned a willingness to share his toys and sandwiches with fellow kindergarten students, but…

Change…  Change we can believe in.

No doubt.
