(Lucan c. 39-65 A.D.)
Jill had much to do each day. There was the shopping, the children’s soccer games, the chores around the house, preparing dinner of course, and then if time were left, her painting. She had always dreamed of being an artist by the way. Some day…
Some day.
But each day came the relentless onrush of things to do; important things; things that couldn’t wait. Things that seeming mattered to her… All but her painting that is. Yes, all but her passion.
Jill hadn’t the first clue how her life had become such a miserable trap; but somehow it had; somehow, inexplicably, it had.

Out of Body Research
I was excited to read this account about Science somewhat duplicating the “out of body experience”. Here’s the link to the BBC Story.
One quote I noted from one of the researchers, Dr Ehrsson, was this: “…our self is located where the eyes are.”
It just sort of got me thinking, that’s all!
Maybe, just maybe, what this experiment really means is this: our consciousness, that is, the essence of who we are, does not need a body to exist! It just seems to be where we are now!
Oh, that was deep… Way deep.

Describe, but never define!
Life I mean.
According to this article in USA Today, scientists are busily altering life; indeed, creating life from inanimate matter.
Amazing, ain’t it?
And in their all important research, they apparently tell everyone that they are merely describing life and not defining it. Yes, they give wide berth to fundemental questions, such as, “what is the meaning of life,”, and say it hushed tones: “Does God exist and would such a God approve of our work?”
And I can understand their recalcatrance in skirting this aspect of their inquiries; what with zeaolous pulpit-pounders and of course, their ever-loyal and never introspective flock hot on the trails of any would-be heretic…
Anyway, I just wanted to say, hey - relax. What matter if life is pro-created or just plain created. God, in his wisdom, gave us such a capability and indeed, an inquisite nature to pursue it. Yeah, creators all - we should be about God’s work!
Creating.
